राजा धर्मः च कामः च द्रव्याणाम् च उत्तमो निधिः | धर्मः शुभम् वा पापम् वा राज मूलम् प्रवर्तते || ३-५०-१०
paapa svabhaavaH capalaH katham tvam rakShasaam vara |aishvaryam abhisaMpraapto vimaanam iva duShkR^itii || 3-50-11
Translation
"A king is the best repository for probity, prosperities, and pleasures, and whether it is probity or felicity or even iniquity that will emerge from the fount called king. [3-50-10]
