राजा सर्वस्य लोकस्य महेन्द्र वरुण उपमः || ३-५०-४ लोकानाम् च हिते युक्तो रामो दशरथ आत्मजः |
raajaa sarvasya lokasya mahendra varuNa upamaH || 3-50-4lokaanaam ca hite yukto raamo dasharatha aatmajaH |
Translation
"Rama, the son of Dasharatha, is the master of all the world, one similar to Mahendra and Varuna, the Rain-god, and the one who is connected with the well-being of all the world. [3-50-4b, 5a]
