वृद्धाश्च व्याधिताश्चैव स्त्रियो बालास्तथैव च | अनिशं भुञ्जमानानां न तृप्तिरुपलभ्यते || १-१४-१३
vR^iddhaaH ca vyaadhitaaH ca eva strii baalaaH tathaa eva ca | anishaM bhuMjamaanaanaaM na tR^iptiH upalabhyate || 1-14-13
Translation
Elderly people, sick ones, women and children though dining on always thus, there is no satisfaction to Emperor Dasharatha, for it appeared to be too meagre a serving and a lot more is to be served. [1-14-13]
