शामित्रे तु हयस्तत्र तथा जलचराश्च ये | ऋषिभिः सर्वमेवैतन्नियुक्तं शास्त्रतस्तदा || १-१४-३१
shaamitre tu hayaH tatra tathaa jalacaraaH ca ye | R^iShibhiH sarvam evai tan niyuktam shaastrataH tadaa || 1-14-31
Translation
The sages have arranged those animals that are to be there in animal sacrifices, like horse and other aquatic animals, in that ritual according to scriptures. [1-14-31]
