Translation
As the promoter of his own dynasty that king Dasharatha donated eastern side to hotaa, western to adhvaryu, and southern to brahmaa. And to udgaataa northern side is given in donation. These were the donations stipulated in that great ritual, ashwamedha, by the Self-Created Brahma from earlier times. [1-14-44,43]
