द्वे च अस्य भार्ये गर्भिण्यौ बभूवतुर् इति श्रुतिः | एका गर्भविनाशाय सपत्न्यै गरळं ददौ || २-११०-१८
putraste bhavitaa devi mahaatmaa lokavishrutaH || 2-110-20 dhaarmikashcha sushiilashcha vaMshakartaarisuudanaH |
Translation
"Asita's two wives became pregnant. It is a hearsay that one of his wives gave poison to the other co-wife in order to destroy her foetus."
