सपत्न्या तु गरः तस्यै दत्तो गर्भ जिघांसया | गरेण सह तेन एव जातः स सगरो अभवत् || २-११०-२३
a.nshumaan iti putro abhuud asamanjasya viiryavaan | diliipo a.nshumataH putro diliipasya bhagiirathaH || 2-110-26
Translation
"Poison was given earlier by her co-wife with an intention to kill her foetus. Born with that poison itself, he became Sagara (a man with poison)."
