तरुणैः चारु वेषैः च नरैर् उन्नत गामिभिः | सम्पतद्भिर् अयोध्यायाम् न विभान्ति महा पथाः || २-११४-२७
evam bahu vidham jalpan vivesha vasatim pituH | tena hiinaam nara indreNa simha hiinaam guhaam iva || 2-114-28
Translation
"The highways in Ayodhya are not glittering with youthful people, richly attired, bearing themselves bravely and roaming about in groups."
