ताम् कथाम् श्रोतुम् इग्च्छामि विस्तरेण च मैथिलि | यथा अनुभूतम् कार्त्स्न्येन तन् मे त्वम् वक्तुम् अर्हसि || २-११८-२५
evam uktaa tu saa siitaa taam tato dharma caariNiim | shruuyataam iti ca uktvaa vai kathayaam aasa taam kathaam || 2-118-26
Translation
"O, Seetha! I wish to hear that narrative in detail. Hence, tell me that tale in full as you experienced it."
