दत्त्वा च अस्मि इष्टवद् देव्यै ज्येष्ठायै पुण्य कर्मणा | तया सम्भाविता च अस्मि स्निग्धया मातृ सौहृदात् || २-११८-३३
pati samyoga sulabham vayo dR^iShTvaa tu me pitaa | cintaam abhyagamad diino vitta naashaad iva adhanaH || 2-118-34
Translation
"That king performing auspicious acts gave me into the care of the chief Queen. She nourished me fondly and with maternal affection."
