सत्येन लोकान् जयति दीनान् दानेन राघवः | गुरून् शुश्रूषया वीरो धनुशा युधि शात्रवान् || २-१२-२९
mama vR^iddhasya kaikeyi gataantasya tapasvinaH | diinam laalapyamaanasya kaaruNyam kartumarhasi || 2-12-34
Translation
"Rama the valiant, conquers men by virtue, the poor through charity, the elders by service, the enemies in battle by his bow."
