न क्रुध्यत्यभिशस्तोऽपि क्रोधनीयानि वर्जयन् | कृद्धान् प्रसादयन् सर्वान् स इतोऽद्य प्रवत्स्यति || २-२०-४
na krudhyatyabhishasto.api krodhaniiyaani varjayan | kR^iddhaan prasaadayan sarvaan sa ito.adya pravatsyati || 2-20-4
Translation
"He used to avoid actions which created anger and soothed all those who were angry. Rama was not furious with those who abused him. Such Rama is going today to exile."
