धर्मार्थकामाः खलु तात लोके | समीक्षिता धर्मफलोदयेषु | ते तत्र सर्वे स्युरसंशयम् मे | भार्येव वश्याभिमता सुपुत्रा || २-२१-५६
dharmaarthakaamaaH khalu taata loke | samiikshitaa dharmaphalodayeshhu | te tatra sarve syurasa.nshayam me | bhaaryeva vashyaabhimataa suputraa || 2-21-56
Translation
"Oh, Lakshmana! In obtaining the fruit of good works in the world, righteousness utility and free will are being considered. As a wife who is obedient, who is beloved and who is having good sons, good work yields all these three things."
