तस्मिन् पुनर्जीवति धर्मराजे | विशेषतः स्वे पथि वर्तमाने | देवी मया सार्थमितोऽपगच्छेत् | कथम् स्विदन्या विधवेव नारी || २-२१-६०
tasmin punarjiivati dharmaraaje | visheshhataH sve pathi vartamaane | devii mayaa saarthamito.apagachchhet | katham svidanyaa vidhaveva naarii || 2-21-60
Translation
"while the righteous king Dasaratha is alive and especially when he is following his own righteous path, how the mother Kausalya can go out with me from here leaving the city like other widowed woman?"
