प्राप्स्यामि यान् अद्य गुणान् को मे श्वस्तान् प्रदास्यति | अपक्रमणम् एव अतः सर्व कामैः अहम् वृणे || २-३४-४०
praapsyaami yaan adya guNaan ko me shvastaan pradaasyati | apakramaNam eva ataH sarva kaamaiH aham vR^iNe || 2-34-40
Translation
Even if these worldly pleasures are obtained today, who will offer those things to me tomorrow? Therefore I desire only to get away in lieu of all these enjoyments.
