ततः सुमन्त्रः काकुत्स्थम् प्रान्जलिर् वाक्यम् अब्रवीत् | विनीतः विनयज्ञः च मातलिर् वासवम् यथा || २-४०-१०
tataH sumantraH kaakutstham praanjalir vaakyam abraviit | viniitaH vinayaGYaH ca maatalir vaasavam yathaa || 2-40-10
Translation
Then, Sumantra the humble man, who was aware of humility, joined his palms and spoke these words to Rama even as Matali(charioteer of Indra) would to Indra (the ruler of gods).
