अद्भिर् एव तु सौमित्रे वत्स्याम्य् अद्य निशाम् इमाम् | एतद्द् हि रोचते मह्यम् वन्ये अपि विविधे सति || २-४६-१०
adbhir eva tu saumitre vatsyaamy adya nishaam imaam | etadd hi rocate mahyam vanye api vividhe sati || 2-46-10
Translation
" Oh, Lakshmana! I shall live on water alone tonight. Though there are various kinds of wild fruits and roots, this is indeed a liking for me"
