एकः सत् पुरुषो लोके लक्ष्मणः सह सीतया | यो अनुगच्चति काकुत्स्थम् रामम् परिचरन् वने || २-४८-८
aapagaaH kR^ita puNyaaH taaH padminyaH ca saraa.nsi ca | yeShu snaasyati kaakutstho vigaahya salilam shuci || 2-48-9
Translation
Lakshmana alone is a good man in this world, who was accompanying Rama belonging to Kakutstha dynasty, along with Sita ,duly rendering service to them in the forest."
