मुनिम् अव्यक्तया वाचा तम् अहम् सज्जमानया | हीन व्यन्जनया प्रेक्ष्य भीतः भीतैव अब्रुवम् || २-६४-११
manasaH karma ceShTaabhir abhisa.nstabhya vaag balam | aacacakShe tu aham tasmai putra vyasanajam bhayam || 2-64-12
Translation
"As though fearful in mind to behold the ascetic, I spoke to him in a tone which was indistinct inarticulate and without some consonants?"
