तस्मान् माम् आगतम् भद्रे तस्य उदारस्य तत् वचः | यद् अहम् पुत्र शोकेन सम्त्यक्ष्याम्य् अद्य जीवितम् || २-६४-६१
durvR^ittamapi kaH putram tyajedbhuvi vicakshaNaH | kashca pravraajyamaano vaa naasuuyetpitaram sutaH || 2-64-64
Translation
"O, my dear lady! Those words of that noble sage, saying that I shall give up my life due to grief for the loss of my son, have come true to me now."
