आर्ये कस्मात् अजानन्तम् गर्हसे माम् अकिल्बिषम् | विपुलाम् च मम प्रीतिम् स्थिराम् जानासि राघवे || २-७५-२०
praiShyam paapiiyasaam yaatu suuryam ca prati mehatu | hantu paadena gaam suptaam yasya aaryo anumate gataH || 2-75-22
Translation
"O, noble woman! Why do you reproach me, sinless as I am, for those things that I do not know anything? Nay, you know well of the greatest affection I have for Rama."
