तृष्णार्तम् सति पानीये विप्रलम्भेन योजयेत् | लभेत तस्य यत्पापम् यस्यार्योऽनुमते गतः || २-७५-५७
vihiinaam pati putraabhyaam kausalyaam paarthiva aatmajaH | evam aashvasayann eva duhkha aartaH nipapaata ha || 2-75-59
Translation
"To him, with whose counsel my elder brother has gone to exile, let that sin be obtained of disappointing a person oppressed with thirst, even though water was available."
