एवं ब्रुवाणं जनकः प्रत्युवाच कृतांजलिः | श्रोतुमर्हसि भद्रं ते कुलं नः परिकीर्तितम् || १-७१-१
evam bruvaaNam janakaH pratyuvaaca kR^itaaMjaliH | shrotum ar.hhasi bhadram te kulam naH parikiirtitam || 1-71-1
Translation
When sage Vashishta said that way, Janaka reverentially made palm fold and said this in reply, "oh, sage, let safeness betide you all... now, it will be apt of you all to listen to our distinguished lineage..." [1-71-1]
