स हि प्राप्तम् न जानीते कालम् कालविदाम् वरः | विश्वामित्रो महातेजाः किम् पुनर् यः पृथग् जनः || ४-३५-८
sa hi praaptam na jaaniite kaalam kaalavidaam varaH |vishvaamitro mahaatejaaH kim punar yaH pR^ithag janaH || 4-35-8
Translation
"When he who is a best one among the time-knowers, that great-resplendent Sage Vishvamitra himself is not privy to the occasioned time for a good many years, why talking about a commoner again. [4-35-8]
