कुरुष्व हितवादिन्या वचनं मम मैथिलि | अलमश्रुप्रपातेन त्यज शोकमन्र्थकम् || ५-२४-३३
striisahasraaNi te sapta vashe sthaasyanti sundari |raavaNaM bhaja bhartaaraM bhrtaaraM sarvarakShasaam || 5-24-37
Translation
"O Seetha! Do according to my word, which is beneficial. Discharge of tears is enough. Leave worthless gloom."
