ततस्तु रक्षोधितिर्महात्म | हनूमताक्षे निहते कुमारे | मनः समाधाय स देवकल्पम् | समादिदेशेन्द्रजितम् सरोषः || ५-४८-१

tatastu rakShodhitirmahaatma | hanuumataakShe nihate kumaare | manaH samaadhaaya sa devakalpam | samaadideshendrajitam saroShaH || 5-48-1

Translation

Filled with anger on his son Aksha having been killed by Hanuma, yet reconciling his mind, the high-minded Ravana the king of demons for his part then instructed Indrajit (his eldest son) possessing the qualities of god (as follows):
