स त्रिरात्रोषितस्तत्र नयज्ञो धर्मवत्सलः | उपासत तदा रामः सागरम् सरिताम् पतिम् || ६-२१-११

avalepam samudrasya na darshayati yat svayam | prashamaH ca kShamaa caiva aarjavam priya vaaditaa || 6-21-14 asaamarthyam phalanti ete nirguNeShu sataam guNaaH |

Translation

Remaining there for three nights, Rama who was skilled in policy and fond of piety, waited upon the ocean, the lord of rivers.
