ततोऽवघोषय पुरे गजस्कन्धेन पार्थिव | हतो रामः सह भ्रात्रा ससैन्य इति सर्वतः || ६-६४-२७
tato.avaghoShaya pure gajaskandhena paarthiva | hato raamaH saha bhraatraa sasainya iti sarvataH || 6-64-27
Translation
"O king! Then, have it proclaimed by beating of trumpets in the entire city, on the back of an elephant, that Rama has been killed along with his brother and his army."
