पापम् क्ऱ्त्वा इव किम् इदम् मम संश्रुत्य संश्रवम् | शेषे क्षिति तले सन्नः स्थित्याम् स्थातुम् त्वम् अर्हसि || २-१४-२
paapam kRtvaa iva kim idam mama sa.nshrutya sa.nshravam | sheShe kShiti tale sannaH sthityaam sthaatum tvam arhasi || 2-14-2
Translation
"What is this? After hearing the promise given to me, you are lying on the floor dejected as though you had committed a great sin. You ought to keep yourself within bounds of ethics".
