ततो हयवरा मुख्या नागाश्च गिरिसन्निभाः || २-१६-३४ अनुजग्मुस्तदा रामं शतशोऽथ सहस्रशः |
nuunam nandhiti te maataa kausalyaa maatR^inandana || 2-16-39 pashyantii siddhayaatram tvaam pitryam raajyamupasthitam |
Translation
Thereupon, hundreds and thousands of important people mounted on excellent horses and soldiers mounted on elephants, then followed Rama.
