अथापि किम् जीवित मद्य मे वृथा | त्वया विना च्न्द्रनिभाननप्रभ | अनुव्रजिष्यामि वनम् त्वयैव गौः | सुदुर्बला वत्समिवानुकाङ्क्षया || २-२०-५४
bhR^isham asukham amarShitaa tadaa | bahu vilalaapa samiikShya raaghavam | vyasanam upanishaamya saa mahat | sutam iva baddham avekShya kimnarii || 2-20-55
Translation
"Moreover, what is the use of life? Oh, Rama! With your brilliant face shining like moon! My life is useless without you. I shall accompany you to the forest like a weak cow going behind it's calf"
