ब्रवीमि सत्येन न तेऽस्ति यन्त्रणा | धनम् हि यद्यन्मम विप्रकारणात् | भवत्सु सम्यक्र्पतिपादनेन त | न्मयार्जितम् प्रीतियश्स्करम् भवेत् || २-३२-४१
iti vaalmiiki raamaayaNe aadi kaavye ayodhya kaaNDe dvaa trayaH triMshaH sargaH
Translation
" I am telling the truth here. There is no limitation for you. Whatever riches belonging to me, are indeed for brahmanas. If the wealth earned by me is given abundantly to you, it will bring in joy and fame."
