वर्तते च उत्तमाम् वृत्तिम् लक्ष्मणो अस्मिन् सदा अनघः | दयावान् सर्व भूतेषु लाभः तस्य महात्मनः || २-४४-५
araNya vaase yad duhkham jaanatii vai sukha ucitaa | anugacchati vaidehii dharma aatmaanam tava aatmajam || 2-44-6
Translation
"Lakshmana, the faultless man and the compassionate man towards all beings, always renders the best form of service to Rama. His conduct is beneficial to the high-soled Rama."
