यथा गतिर् अनाथायाः पुत्रः प्रव्राजितः वनम् || २-७७-७ ताम् अम्बाम् तात कौसल्याम् त्यक्त्वा त्वम् क्व गतः नृप |
dR^iShTvaa bhasma aruNam tac ca dagdha asthi sthaana maNDalam || 2-77-8 pituH shariira nirvaaNam niShTanan viShasaada ha |
Translation
"O, king! O, father! Where have you gone, leaving Kausalya the mother whose son Rama, her support, has been sent away from home to the forest?"
