अथ तस्य कृते राम महानासीत् कुलक्षयः। अदितेस्तु ततः पुत्रा दितेः पुत्रानसूदयन्॥ १-४५-४०
yadaa kshayam gatam sarvam tadaa viSNuH mahaabalaH | amR^itam saH aharat tuurNam maayaam aasthaaya mohiniim || 1-45-42
Translation
Owing to the dispute regarding the possession of that ambrosia, oh, Rama, then there chanced a rampant ethnic havoc, and then the sons of Aditi have havocked the sons of Diti. [1-45-40]
