न हि मे जीवितेनार्थः सीतया च जयेन वा || ६-१०१-५० को हि मे जीवितेनार्थस्त्वयि पञ्चत्वमागते |
nairaashyamupagantun te tadalaM matkR^iteanagha || 6-101-54 vadhena raavaNasyaadya pratiGYaamanupaalaya |
Translation
"There is no purpose of mine, by me own life nor of Seetha nor of victory. If you have attained demise, tell me what significnace is there for it to me?"
