विमुच्य राघवरथं समन्ताद्वानरे बले ||६-१०७-२० सायकैरन्तरिक्षं च चकाराशु निरन्तरम् |

mumocha cha dashagriivo niHsa~Ngenaantaraatmanaa || 6-107-21 vyaayachchhamaanaM taM dR^iShTvaa tatparaM raavaNaM raNe | prahasanniva kaakutsthaH sandadhe nishitaan sharaan ||6-107-22 sa mumocha tato baaNaanraNe shatasahasrashaH |

Translation

Leaving alone Rama's chariot, Ravana released arrows on the army of monkeys on all sides, thus wholly covering the sky.
