हेत्वर्थयुक्तं विधिवच्छ्रेयस्करमदारुणम् | विभीषणेनाभिहितं न कृतं हेतुमत्त्वया || ६-१११-७९
nR^ishansa iti maan raama vakShyanti manujaa bhuvi || 6-111-97 shrutvaa tasya guNaansarve vakShyanti sukR^itaM punaH |
Translation
"The counsel offered by Vibhishana, which was endowed with reason, meaning, rule of conduct, wholesome, gentle and well-founded, was not implemented by you."
