तत्राहमेकामद्राक्षमशोकवनिकां गताम् | कौशेयवस्त्रां मलिनां निरानन्दां दृढव्रताम् || ६-१२६-४४

sa tu dattavaraH prItyaa vaanaraishcha samaagataH || 6-126-53 puShpakeNa vimaanena kiShkindhaamabhyupaagamat |

Translation

"There, I saw Seetha, living alone in a grove of Ashoka trees, clad in a soiled silk-saree, looking cheerless, but unflinching in her vow."
