सुवर्ण पुन्खैर् विशैखैह् सम्पतद्भिह् सहस्रशाः || ६-४४-२४ बभूव रजनी चित्रा ख द्योतैर् इव शाअरदी |

tena shaabdena mahataa pravR^iddhena samantataH || 6-44-26 trikuuTah kandara aakiirNah pravyaaharad iva acalaH |

Translation

That night, with the golden shafts of arrows, flying on all sides, appeared bright-coloured, like an autumnal night with its fire-flies on all sides.
