राक्षसानाम् च निनदैर् हरीणाम् च अपि गर्जितैः || ६-४४-२५ सा बभूव निशाअ घोरा भूयो घोरतरा तदा |
go laanguulaa mahaa kaayaas tamasaa tulya varcasaH || 6-44-27 sampariShvajya baahubhyaam bhakShayan rajanii caraan |
Translation
The terrible night on that day became more terrible again by the sound of kettle-drums and by the roaring sounds of the demons.
