तम् उवाच महा तेजा वैनतेयो महा बलः | पतत्रि राजह् प्रीत आत्मा हर्ष पर्याकुल ईक्षणः || ६-५०-४५

aham sakhaa te kaakutstha priyah praaNo bahish caraH | garutmaan iha sampraapto yuvayoh saahya kaaraNaat || 6-50-46

Translation

The highly majestic and the mighty Garuda the eagle, the King of Birds, with his eys widened in gladness and with a pleased heart, spoke to Rama as follows:
