स बाणवर्षैरभिवर्ष्यमाणो | धारानिपातानिव तान्विचिन्त्य| समीक्षमाणः परमाद्भुतश्री | रामस्तदा लक्ष्मणमित्युवाच ||६-७३-६७

tatastadaa vaanararaajasainyaM | raamaM cha sa~Nkhye sahalakShmaNena| viShaadayitvaa sahasaa vivesha | puriiM dashagriivabhujaabhiguptaam || 6-73-74 sa.nstuuyamaanaH sa tu yaatudhaanaiH | pitre cha sarvaM hR^iShito.abhyuvaacha || 6-73-75

Translation

Ignoring that showering rain of arrows, as though they are mere showers of rain, that Rama of the most wonderful luster, looking around thoroughly, then spoke to Lakshmana as follows:
