स वै गदाभिर्हरियूथमुख्यान् | निर्भिद्य बाणैस्तपनीयपुङ्खैः | ववर्ष रामं शरवृष्टिजालैः | सलक्ष्मणं भास्कररश्मिकल्पैः || ६-७३-६६

tatastu taavindrajidastrajaalair | babhuuvatustatra tadaa vishastau| sa chaapi tau tatra viShaadayitvaa | nanaada harShaadyudhi raakShasendraH || 6-73-73

Translation

Tearing asunder the principal monkey-warriors by maces and arrows, which were of golden colour, that Indrajit rained a multitude of showers of arrows equal to sun's rays on Rama and Lakshmana.
