सोऽयमर्थं परित्यज्य सुखकामः सुखैधितः | पापमारभते कर्तुं तथा दोषः प्रवर्तते || ६-८३-३४
yasyaarthaastasya mitraaNi yasyaarthaastasya baandhavaH | yasyaarthaaH sa pumaaMlloke yasyaarthaaH sa cha paNDitaH || 6-83-35
Translation
"Such a man, brought up by comforts, renouncing wealth (within easy reach) and seeking comfort, proceeds to commit sinful act and then evil (in the form of punishment) follows from it."
