तयोः कृतव्रणौ देहौ शुशुभाते महात्मनोः || ८८-६-७३ सुपुष्पाविव निष्पत्रौ वने किंशुकशाल्मली |

tato rudhirastiktaani saMvR^itaani sharairbhR^isham || 88-6-77 babhraajuH sarvagaatraaNi jvalanta iva paavakaaH |

The wounded bodies of those two mighty warriors shone like Kimshuka and Shalmali (silk-cotton) trees in full blossom, deprived of leaves.
