कं च ते परमं कामं करोमि किमु हर्षितः || १-१८-५२ पात्रभूतोऽसि मे ब्रह्मन् दिष्ट्या प्राप्तोऽसि मानद | अद्य मे सफलं जन्म जीवितं च सुजीवितम् || १-१८-५३ यस्माद् विप्रेन्द्रमद्राक्षं सुप्रभाता निशा मम |
Translation
"Oh, Brahman, as I am the one who is delighted for your arrival, and as you are the most eligible recipient from me, what is that choicest object of yours to be fulfilled by me, and in which way. Oh, endower of respect, for me your arrival is fortunate whereby my birth is fructified and my life flourished today, and wherefore I could see a great Brahman like you visiting my home, therefore the sun appears to have dawned in my night.
