यस्य विक्रममाणस्य शक्रस्य इव पराक्रमः | एष गन्धर्व कन्यायाम् उत्पन्नः कृष्ण वर्त्मना || ६-२७-२० तत्र देवासुरे युद्धे साह्यार्थम् त्रिदिवौकसाम् |

bhramara aacaritaa yatra sarva kaama phala drumaaH || 6-27-34 yam suurya tulya varNa aabham anuparyeti parvatam | yasya bhaasaa sadaa bhaanti tad varNaa mR^iga pakShiNaH || 6-27-35 yasya prastham mahaatmaano na tyajanti maharShayaH | sarvakaamaphalaa vR^ikShaaH sarve phalasamanvitaaH || 6-27-36 madhuuni ca mahaarhaaNi yasmin parvatasattame | tatra eSha ramate raajan ramye kaancana parvate || 6-27-37 mukhyo vaanara mukhyaanaam kesarii naama yuuthapaH |

Translation

"This Samnada, whose striding prowess is equal to that of Indra the Lord of Celestials was born of a youthful Gandharva maiden and krishnavartman for the purpose of helping the celestials in a combat between celestials and demoneous."
