उत्तर द्वारम् आसाद्य रामह् सौमित्रिणा सह || ६-४२-२७ आवृत्य बलवांस् तस्थौ सुग्रीवज़् च हरि ईज़्वरः |

R^iShkaaNaam bhiima vegaanaam dhuumrah zatru nibarhaNaH || 6-42-28 vR^itah koTyaa mahaa viiryas tasthau raamasya paarzvataH |

Translation

Rama along with Lakshmana and Sugreeva the mighty lord of the monkeys, seeking the northern gate (while remaining stationed in the north west) stood besieging that gate.
