तम् विह्वलन्तं प्रसमीक्ष्य रामः | समाददे दीप्तमथार्धचन्द्रम् | तेनार्कवर्णं सहसा किरीटं | चिच्छेद रक्षोधिपतेर्महात्मा || ६-५९-१४०

tasmin prabhagne tridashendrashatrau | suraasuraa bhuutagaNaa dishashcha | sasaagaraaH sarvamahoragaashcha | tathaiva bhuumyambucha raaH prahR^iShTaaH || 6-59-146

Translation

Seeing that Ravana swooning, the magnanimous Rama took up a blazing arrow shaped like a crescent moon and immediately used it to shatter the diadem of Ravana the Lord of Demons, which was of bright hue.
